Stranded team
Jul. 2nd, 2009 09:20 pmGood evening.
Does anyone know stories that are similar to
telesilla's It's Growing Day by Day?
For those who haven't read it: the team (with Ronon in this case) is stranded on a planet and has to find away back to Atlantis together.
McShep would be divine.
Thank you!

Date: 2009-07-03 03:23 am (UTC)I know a few where the team (or just Rodney and John) are left to fend for themselves... or have to join with an existing Pegasus culture to survive. I usually tag these sorts of fics with survival (http://delicious.com/Kirinin/survival).
As far as ones go where specifically the entire team is abandoned together and must make their way specifically to Atlantis AND are McShep? Eee.
Well. Gifts Unasked For (http://shetiger.com/fanfic/stargate/giftsunasked.html) has some John/Rodney, if you also don't mind a bit of OT3 as well. Rodney, Teyla and Sheppard are stuck on a planet to fend for themselves by a Wraith-like Ford, the 'jumper broken and useless.
Probably the next closest thing is The Complexity of Daily Life (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=12481&warning=12), but again, much with the Team!vibe, and less with the sole McShep pairing.
Hope you find some more that are closer!

which has two sequels:
helical (http://www.eternalvox.net/auburn/helical.html) co-authored with eretria
passage home (http://www.eternalvox.net/auburn/passagehome.html)
These two by Auburn fit your request partly. John remembers the team's efforts to survive, on their way to where they are in the two stories:
but the nights are better (out here) (http://www.eternalvox.net/auburn/butthenights.html)
sequel: from the edge of the green sea (http://www.eternalvox.net/auburn/greensea.html)
