Hi!

I'm looking for stories where Rodney is a dad - adopted or biological, it doesn't matter.  The only stipulation is that the story be either gen or het pairings.

Mhalachai's Physics of the Spin, which is a Gilmore Girls/SGA crossover. It has Rory actually being Rodney's daughter. It's mainly focused on Rory for the first 12 chapters or so, but it is a really good read.

The first I thought about is Rodney and Fatherhood (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5015995/1/Rodney_and_Fatherhood). It's a WIP by dwparsnip. So far it's 11 chapters.

One of my favorites is "Saving Grace" by McRaider. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2472346/1/
This is a long story that begins when Rodney is a child. After he goes to Atlantis, he becomes a surrogate parent to a child. The story's main focus isn't the parenthood, but it's a series of "episodes" and one could read only those that pertain to parenting. The whole story is quite good.

Another by McRaider is "A Moment in Time", http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2582819/1/A_Moment_In_Time
In this one, the kids are Rodney's biological children. Again, a good read.

For a fun read, look at "Woobies of Woe," by AbylityMaren, http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=448
In this one, Rodney becomes an "unwilling foster parent" to a small child for one week. Hilarity ensues.

Another, where Rodney acts as a short-term "surrogate Dad" is "Lost" by LE McMurray. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2416985/1/
This may not be precisely what you're searching for, but the interaction between Rodney and the kids is good.
