Pegasus literature and/or Pegasus!Harlequin?

So I just read Pegasus Literature 101 (Pass/Fail Remix), which introduces several literary works of the Pegasus galaxy. One comment thread mentions that we should have more fics that introduce "standard Pegasus literary tropes" (such as this story's mention of the Athosian trope girl goes through gate, girl meets boy, girl and boy fall in love but are faced with differences based on their respective cultures, girl brings husband back through the gate to live in her clanhouse) and that we should have more Pegasus-style Harlequin romances. So I'm looking for any examples of either category -- fics in which Pegasus literature/tropes feature prominently and Pegasus!Harlequin fics. Serious or cracky, gen or any pairing, any rating ... though notes as to that stuff appreciated.

I'm kicking myself for not mentioning two fics I consider to satisfy this query loosely but that didn't occur to me when I posted because I was thinking more of books. Healing Station Argh speculates a Pegasus-galaxy soap opera sparking considerations of sexual mores; OT4, explicit, kink (pegging), hysterical and touching. friendshipper and dewey3067 both mentioned this one right away. friendshipper also reminded me about One Life to Ascend To, which also provides a Pegasus-galaxy soap opera; (pre-)McShep. This one's much less Pegasus-specific but is worth mentioning.

friendshipper also-also provided her own Selena of the Bears, which is more in line with what I was first thinking; Ronon with a possible Ronon/Beckett moment but pretty much gen otherwise. In addition, Far and Far from Land has elements of Pegasus legends and perspective amongst the larger story; I ran across it following a completely unrelated sgastoryfinders link. Gen; AUish (part of a larger AU by the author, I think); mentions of dubcon but nothing explicit in-story.

Have you tried the harlequin_sga comm? It's been pretty dead recently and the quality (just like on any comm) varies but I seem to recall finding a few decent ones there. Unfortunately, no specific titles are jumping to mind, right now.

Oh, no worries -- I just figured that since I knew there had been one or more Harlequin challenges out there, I should narrow the type. If I knew there was a whole comm for the Harlequins, I had forgotten, so thanks for this anyway -- they make me giggle.

Depending on how widely you're willing to stretch the definition of "literature", there are two stories I can think of off the top of my head that deal with Pegasus soap operas -- Healing Station Aargh (explicit OT4) and One Life to Ascend To (don't remember pairing on this one, but looking at the author, it's probably McShep).

I always feel weird self-reccing, but my own Selena of the Bears deals with Satedan myth with a sideplot of Earth anthropologists studying and classifying it. (It's Carson/Ronon, and a remix, but the original story was pretty much a totally different thing as far as the myth aspect of it.)

I really love stories that deal with Pegasus culture and I wish I could come up with more stories that involve their fiction or creative pop culture, but I'm totally drawing a blank. Will let you know if I think of any more, though! :D

I realized belatedly that I should have mentioned "Argh" and "Ascend" in my post, because those do fit, to my mind. If anyone is tracking this item, I highly recommend them.

I'm always surprised to discover more fics of yours that I haven't read yet -- I adore your fics -- so I'm delighted to see a self-rec by you here. I haven't read this one, and by your description here it's exactly what I'm looking for, so thanks!

There isn't exactly Pegasus literature in toft_froggy's Healing Station Argh (http://toft-froggy.livejournal.com/376385.html?style=mine) but it does have Pegasus tropes in the form of Pegasus television with soap operas and "sport" competitions. And Teyla and Ronon rolling their eyes at the clueless earthlings. OT4 and very NC17. And hilarious.

And I vaguely remember some stories where Pegasus fairy tales are told, but don't have any specific ones coming to mind...

Oh, "Argh" is great, just for the entirely different perspectives on responsible sex. (And the euphemisms -- "Ice farming", hah!) It's one of the few explicit fics I've bookmarked, so I'm glad to see it mentioned here (however often, hee!), if only for the benefit of others tracking this post, so thanks!
