Hi! A while ago, I read a story where John goes home to see his family,
a high-school bully and his dad(I think he was a general or something) invites themselves and insults John, Rodney gets mad and insults them right back.
The title had the bully's name in it, and I'd really like to read it again.

I'm also looking for similar stories with people from John's past who just can't seem to get why he made it to Lt.Colonel, and someone from Atlantis defending him.

Sorry. As in similar, I meant being teased/insulted by their academic/military acquaintances.
"Bell Curve, or, Ladies Night at the Boom Boom Room" by Pru has a scene with Jenny not believing Rodney capable of bringing a partner to her party (and not so much unpleasant), but other than that, I don't remember much of less-than-pleasant family.

I remember "Bell Curve" (that one hits a multitude of genres/kinks) and Jeannie's and their extended family's teasing of Rodney. I was just hoping that you maybe knew a fic that deals directly with the McKay parents, since I haven't manage to stumble upon one yet. (And if I started posting about every kind of SGA fic I wanted to read I'd take over the comm single-handedly. ^.^) But it's OK.
