Rodney in pain

I'm disappointed in SGA in the fact that John gets the sterotypical military man under torture/physical injuries whilst Rodney got the 'funnier' captures or that it's a non-physical assault (as in virus, mental changes etc)

Now, can anybody rec me well-written tortured!Rodney where he doesn't become an over-the-top traumatised, simpering character? Put Dr. Rodney McKay in situations where the series writers would have placed John Sheppard and have McKay react in a such a way that is believable of cannon McKay behaviour? Does that make sense?

Gen or McShep greatly appreciated!

He does indeed. I wanted some McKay ass kicking damn it! Both as the kicker (the enzyme incident was funny! Though a little poorly executed) or the kickee. Hmm...that doesn't sound to good does it. Oh well, I'm just a slut for hurt/comfort :D

Nope. I'm not new to fandom, but I don't always catch all the good fics as I'm not watching enough fanfic sites and I have to admit I don't devote all my fandom time to SGA.

Sandstorms does sound familiar, but I don't mind reading it again - same goes for any other 'big ones'
