hi
are there any jonn/rodney stories out there where the ending is unhappy,
eg
one is gay and the other isn't and doesn't suddenly discover they are after all so there can be no happy resolution to the story,

that type of thing,

i don't want death fics just stories where it doesn't and won't work out,

thanks jackiedanny

Salt of the Earth (http://www.area52hkh.net/asd/dasha/saltof01.php). "Will you be quiet!" Sheppard hissed. "If Beckett finds out I've upset you, I'll get blacklisted. This is why people aren't nice to you, by the way. It completely freaks you out. (McKay gets disembowled, builds a house, and heals One-sided McShep)

I opened this post because I thought this sounded interesting, but now I find I can't bring myself to read any of the fics :DDDDD

I'm a junkie for happy endings :(

The really weird thing here is I was going to rec Directional Theory as well and while attempting to do so I found that I have a link labeled Proximity Theory right next to my link for Directional Theory and it's summarized as "sequel to Directional Theory." The link leads nowhere but maybe there is actually a sequel?

HAHAHA ME TOO. I was like "huh, that could be interesting" but then I was like "WAIT WHY DO I WANT TO MAKE MYSELF CRY???"

top secret: I have never read "Fear Is Just Another Word" for precisely this reason.

Freedom is the awesomest fic that ever awesomened, even if it will rip your heart out of your chest and stomp it into itty bitty bits and make you cry for months after... Because it's still actually a rather hopeful fic. "I wish you could see how happy I am."

But it will break your heart. Sometimes phrases from the fic float into my mind out of nowhere and then I'll feel depressed about again :D

So yeah :D I recommend you read it, and I recommend you to stay the fuck away from it ;_;

omg I can't believe I typed that wrong, this is why I should not LJ in the middle of the night. oops.

For now I am staying the fuck away from it D: one day when I want a good cry maybe I'll try it, so long as I've got something super awesomely happy to fix me after!

Blimvisible made this fucking awesome songvid to it, and now the video alone is enough to make me cry, and the beautiful awesome song in the video makes me a bit sad whenever I listen to it.

Honestly. It's such a beautifully written fic, but I read it like, probably six months ago, and I still can't read even bits of it without starting sob pathetically :DDDD

(I have no idea what kind of a marketing speech this is supposed to be where I tell you just how miserable the fic made me :D But to be honest, it's the fic I would want everyone to read, if they only read one fic in the fandom.)

Haha, exactly. I skimmed a few but then I kept asking "why am I doing this to myself?!" D:
