I just reread some of my favorite McShep AUs. Do you know any AUs where John or Rodney own/run small businesses? Any line business is welcome, just no big CEO stuff.

Supermarket in California (http://taffetablue.livejournal.com/10542.html) in which John buys a little convenient store near a college and Rodney comes in late at night. all the time. Schmoop ensues. I love this one.

Romanace at the Roadkill Grill (http://lamardeuse.dreamhost.com/sg/romanceattheroadkillgrill.html) by lamardeuce Rodney takes over a sick friend's restaurant and meets John Sheppard. Such a terrific little story with great OCs too. You'll like it!

But Wait, There's More (I think is what it's called) John's a Home Shopping hoste and Rodney is an inventor who wants to sell things on it, and umm, well, the audience loves them. I just can't find the link to it. I suck. Sorry.

Yeah, I have a hard time imagining Rodney as the owner. He'd probably spend ages lecturing every single customer on the dangers of brainless high risk sports. :) *glee*
