Uneducated Rodney?

Hello,

Does anyone know of any stories where Rodney doesn't get to continue his education? Theres no money and no scholarships? so he doesn't go to college and teaches himself? Or something similar.

EDIT, sorry forgot to say I'd prefer slash John/Rodney or gen, no het thanks.

Tiranog has one (An Affair to Remember (http://tiranog.southroad.com/SGA/Affair.htm)) where Rodney is a self-educated man. It's a McShep AU based on (you guessed it =) the movie.

(Go ahead and read her other SGA stories as well--she's one of my go-to authors when I want a long, meaty read.)
