Hey all, I've been craving some fic where Sumner &/or Everett doesn't die, or at least not right away. I've read the one by eleveninches & the one by sgatlantislight , but there has to be a few more AU's with this motif. At this point you can rec bad!fic & anything else, I just wanna see the colonels live.

smittywing has a Sumner/Weir series, and while the main stories are canon and pre-series, there's a story with a quantummirror!Sumner. miss_porcupine has an AU WIP where Sumner lives. Both are great stories.

Could you share which is the one by sgatlantislight? I just finished reading The Roads Never Lead Where They're Supposed to Go (http://eleveninches.livejournal.com/228800.html) by eleveninches and am in the mood for another one, even if it's only half a fantastic and cracktastic! ;-)

Unified Theory ( http://sgatlantislight.livejournal.com/42955.html )is baised upon the premise that Everett never was drained by the Wraith & Sheppard was shipped back to Earth then left the service. It's McShep & to be honest a good read & a WiP that is being worked on.

You might have a point there; I checked the last part which was posted pretty recently, and it ended pretty amicably I think, so might as well give it a go. Although I think I hate you *so much* for getting me hooked on yet another WIP saga-in-the-making. :-P
