John crazy in love with Rodney!

Hey there everyone!I'm fairly new to this fandom(it's been around 6 months,and I know I have a long way to go)and I'm searching for this particular genre of McShep fics.

In most of the Stargate Atlantis fics,it's usually Rodney who's crazy for John and John just seems to love Rodney for his brains.Yes, I get it that David Hewlett looks nothing like Joe Flanigan, but still,Rodney deserves some love too!

I'm looking for fics where John's the one who's totally in love/lust with Rodney.Obviously Rodney's genius is there,but I'd really like to read fics where John finds Rodney insanely attractive.

I usually read R and NC-17 rated stories,and hate sad endings.Could someone please rec some McShep fics with happy endings in this particular genre?

P.S.Since I've never edited a post before,I don't have a very good idea of how to go about it.I just wanted to say that I did see the "Bootylicious" rec, but that was the only rec it that request. Also,it wasn't exactly what I wanted. I wanted to read fics that struck this balance between John's love for Rodney's brain + body.

For what it's worth, I have a massive crush on Hewlett, there's just no way you can call the man ugly. JFlans is cute, but Hewlett just does things to me. *g*

NO NO NO!I didn't mean he was ugly!I think he's cute,in that slightly nerdy manner(and I do have a not-so-secret soft spot for nerds)...but it's more like you fall in love with him AFTER you've seen "Rodney",i.e., I get the feeling that it's because of the character he plays that I find the actor attractive.

Forgive me for being shallow,but I'm a complete sucker for JFlan!What can I do?Blame the hair!:D

Heh, I was referring more to how the majority of fics always have Rodney mentioning how good John looks (not to mention Jeannie's "You're no John Sheppard" remark), because I don't think John's that out of Rodney's league.

And hey, I'll be the first person to admit JFlan is very, very pretty. That bottom lip oh yes. But still, Hewlett has that nose and those eyelashes and hmmm...

P.S. I just managed to unearth almost an identical request (http://community.livejournal.com/sgagenrefinders/314046.html) not a month old, so basically yours is breaking comm rules. If you edit it so it's at least somewhat different than the other one then it would be fine; I'd hate to have to delete your post when it already has this many recs, but rules are rules.

ETA: please not to be ignoring the mod, it's only serving to make me more cranky.

I was up too long and posting about 12 hours after I should have had a net thrown over me. Your cranky mod is why when someone asks for a specific story we don't get the same old, same old. H/W is the House-Wilson board and I fumbled that too. They are great, and I have just enough grace left to not name the board that I intended to harsh.

In the future PLEASE remember that as a mod I only get the same comment notifications as you - I have no way of knowing you've edited your post until or when I check it again, and no one can expect any mod to check every post daily in hopes to see some change.

Just reply to my comment next time, and talk to me about the issue, and we'll come to some sort of an agreement next time, OK? Editing your comments into your posts just airs the laundry for everyone to see, so to speak, and I'm still not sure what your point was - pared down, you're still looking for John loves (and lusts for) Rodney recs, and the previous post basically does the same. You may not have gotten the same recs as in that post, but then you could have also told me that and explained your post better so I understood what you were after.

When dealing with mods: please to actually *communicate* with them, and don't think they're omniscient and will read your mind. Thanks.
