Leader Mckay and John in charge of Atlantis

Hey guys! I've just been re-watching Hot Zone from the first season and have been inspired to make some requests

1. I love how at the start of that episode Rodney leads his team, and is concerned for them.I would love if you could give me anything with Rodney in a position of leadership. It doesn't even have to be in charge of Atlantis, ANYTHING is fine.

2. Also, I love how in that episode John disobeys Elizabeth and undermines her authority in front of Bates. Is there anything else like that in which Elizabeth and John struggle for control of Atlantis and John comes out on top.

McShep preferred if at all possible!

Speranza's Written By The Victors - I believe fits both criteria - Rodney does have a leadership role AND John definitely comes out on top in the power struggle for Atlantis

it is a massive story - but well worth the read - quite enthralling as can be evidenced by the reaction of the many readers and what it has in turn inspired
