I'm looking for any fic with smart!sheppard (ehi, 'He could be MENSA'!)
So please, give me anything that involves john shown as really smart, or have John figuring out something that no one else does, and saves the day, etc...

I love smart John stories too. I wish there were more non-McShep ones so I second your request if anyone knows of any besides:

It's dark and sad just to warn you, but in a brilliantly written Irresistible AU, Irreplaceable by kashkow, (http://stargate-atlantis.org/fanfics/viewstory.php?sid=2431) John shows his true inner math genius and solves one of the Millenium problems (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millenium_problems), if I recall correctly, specifically the Navier-Stokes equations.

In the also brilliantly written, The Imago of John (a bigbang fic so really a novel) by Kristen999, (http://sgabigbang.talkoncorners.net/?view=fic&id=25) John, and not Rodney, ends up in the Ascension machine from "The Tao of Rodney." John gets even smarter than normal. If you like Sheppard, Kristen999 is brilliant at his characterization and anything she writes is well-worth reading.
