Hi

i'm looking for mcshep stories where one of them is really insecure about relationships because they've been f**ked over in the past and dont want to get themselves hurt again, and find it hard to believe the other would want them or love them.

had a look through crossroads but i seem to be failing at finding what i want... could someone please be kind enough to point in the correct direction of a few.

General & Dr Sheppard (http://www.xanthe.org/site/Pages/featured.htm) by Xanthe (http://www.xanthe.org/xanthe.html) & it's prequel Coming Home (http://www.xanthe.org/SGA/cominghome/ch1.htm) both deal with Rodney's difficulties in believing in relationships that can last and John has issues of his own as well -- I do however have to warn that the stories are BDSM and therefore I'd advise reading all warnings and author's notes before you read them - Xanthe is a superb author and while BDSM is not generally my thing (kink) she makes it more than palatable for my distinctly mild preferences
