Canon Alt!Verse McShep
Oct. 8th, 2008 10:59 pmHey Everyone, I'm hoping you can help me out. I'm looking for really good McShep stories based in the Alternative Universes introduced in Canon like the Mensa!Verse and DotCon!Verse. Something like
tarlanx's awesome Draconian Measures. Something with a great plot. (and if there are none then anything well written will do!)
Thank you so much in advance!

Date: 2008-10-09 02:43 pm (UTC)For more stories in canon parallel universes, you can check under our tag (which you ever-so-cleverly used all by yourself - big kudos!), but here's a few I could find just now just in case:
Plan C, or How Rodney McKay Lost His Wife and Gained a Galaxy (http://toomuchplor.livejournal.com/63657.html) by
Major Redesign (http://shusu.livejournal.com/907526.html) by Liondragon, Sam/Rodney, John/Rodney, NC-17, dot!com 'verse - haven't actually read this one yet >.<
...and I was going to rec you the SGA version of the movie "Jack and Sarah" since Rodney's kind of/almost just like he's in the dot!com 'verse, but technically it's not exactly a dot!com story; still, here's the link: And a Roost for Every Bird (http://community.livejournal.com/catenip/23073.html) by

Date: 2008-10-09 04:03 pm (UTC)I did indeed see the tag (kudos to me, Yay!), but nothing struck me as exactly what I was looking for, so I thought I'd ask! and behold I get great responses!
And now I'm off to read Plan C (and then the almost DotCom!verse story because it totally qualifies) Thanks Darlin', you rock!

(just scroll down) or their sentinel series. Actually they have a lot of AU stuff. Like it all.
There is also Madisons The Second series at
http://www.wraithbait.com/viewuser.php?uid=1593. They are pretty good too.
Not exactly what you requested but there are x-overs to au-verses as well as the cannon verses.
