Hello!
I’m in the mood for fics that leave you crying, the stories that really affected you emotionally when you read it. With lots of angst and hurt/comfort but preferably with happy endings ‘cause I don’t want to be completely crushed. Just, I want to feel for the characters and suffer with them for a while before everything slowly gets better (Or just getting a hint that everything will be alright). It feels like I’m repeating myself, you’re smart people I hope you understand what I’m talking about. ;p

Oh, Right... I prefer slash of the McKay/Sheppard kind but gen stories are welcome too.

Ah, but be careful with the stories from that other post. The person requesting those recs said unhappy endings are fine if there's a note of hope. I don't know if that's enough of a "happy end" for you since you prefer happy endings. :-)

No worries. Like patk said, the other request was phrased somewhat differently, so yours is not redundant. I just thought there might be enough overlap that it could be a useful resource. :-)

I *just* finished reading the Price that Life Exacts (http://sgabigbang.talkoncorners.net/?view=fic&id=38"), which is incredible, weepy McShep that ends happily: When John disappears, Rodney and the other 'Lanteans do everything they can think of to find him, and then some. And when they find Sheppard's infant daughter, Rodney forces himself to view her as nothing more than a living clue to John's location...

It's enormous, too - should keep you busy awhile!
