Deadalus Variations

There's a story idea I've wanted to see since Deadalus Variations.

Despite Ronon's excellent advice to Teyla, i want to know what happened to that other team.  What caused them to fail while our team succeeded?  How did they die?  Didn't look like they starved.  there must be a hundred different ways this could have gone and I want to read them all.
