Hello everyone! I'm looking for fics where Rodney and John pretend to be a couple, for whatever reason, whether it's an AU or it's set in Atlantis, only to end up falling for each other.

I actually can't remember if I ever managed to read it or not, mainly because I tend to have an issue with reading WIPs in that I fear they will never be finished, but, if I KNOW that they'll never be finished then I will read them... did that make sense?

Yes. Yes it does. :-D It came from a convoluted conversation in which it was decided that Joe's Flan-a-Can (flan that comes in a can) and blue jell-o are the real OTP.

How weird, I *just* read one of these: it's Madison's Perfect Strangers Series (http://www.area52hkh.net/asm/madison/perfec01.php). Odd series of stories, yet strangely fun/satisfying: Carson, on his return from a VERY scary alternate universe, can't completely believe he's really come back to the right place. John and Rodney do their best to convince him he is, and wacky hijinks ensues.

(Really, I'm far more fond of the second and third parts, though, than the first...)

Then there's Rules of Engagement (http://velocitygrass.livejournal.com/62709.html) by velocitygrass, in which John pretends to be Rodney's husband in order to get Rodney a spot at a top lab. Does this make sense? Well, no, not in any way, shape or form, but... ;)

I'm not sure if I ever did read the Perfect Strangers Series, though I think I remember seeing it, as I know I've read Madison's stuff. And Rules of Engagement, yes, I love that one. Thanks! I will definitely check out your del.icio.us account.
