I've read some good recs here for stories where John goes medieval on those who have dared to hurt his Rodney or his City, etc.; are there any good stories where Rodney is driven to exact his own brand of whup-ass, fire-and-brimstone, ultimate revenge?  I'm looking for a Rodney implacable in exacting some vengeance, McShep slash preferred, but gen also appreciated.  Oh, uh, and yet can it still have a happy ending?  I'm not a fan of dark endings....

It's gen and there's no fire and brimstone, but Rodney walks into the place where his team is being held hostage and he holds a gun to the head of the main bad guy (ranting a bit that he's the most dangerous man he'll ever meet :)

I second Transcendental! Probably on target in terms of what you're looking for, and also? hot as burning.

Then there's Unanticipated Outcomes (http://www.geocities.com/thegrrrl2002/atlantis/03/unanticipated.html), by thegrrrl, in which Sheppard gets into frequent trouble and Rodney plays rescuer.

You'd probably also do well to check out the Deranged McKay Masterlist (http://korilian.livejournal.com/tag/deranged+mckay+master+list), which has a few Rodneybreaksdown!s and Rodneylosesmarbles! but also, likely, Rodney loses marbles quite violently and vindictively, therby Saving the City from Imminent Doom.

'Smiley's All the Things Rodney Never Was (http://sardonicsmiley.livejournal.com/36940.html?view=1673548#t1673548) has Rodney responsible for not just a teammate but the whole city of Atlantis, and he does some pretty nasty things to her enemies.
