Are there any fics where the scientists do something nice for the military contingent or where they acknowledge the fact that the soldiers are putting their lives on the line to protect them?

I'd love to read fics where something happens that makes John lose his temper and flip out. Could be drug related but I'd prefer it to be the actions of someone else setting him off. No preference of rating or gen/het/slash just as long as there's some deranged!Shep involved. :)
