Hi Everybody! Are there any fics out there where Rodney's list of ailments (hypoglycemia, citrus allergy, sensitivity to the sun, etc.) or his list of accomplishments (pianist, actor, etc.) are exaggerations? Stretching of the truth? Even, *gasp*, out-and-out lies? Doesn't really matter the reason - he's insecure, looking for attention, covering something up, whatever. I only ask that it not be a crack fic. Any pairing, or no pairing, is good.

Searching for some Rodney-angst.

Are there any fics that deal with the team leaving Rodney behind in Lost Boys/The Hive? Rodney's feelings on not being part of the team, or maybe it affecting his relationship with John etc. Anything where he feels hurt or abandoned by it. McShep or gen preferred.

Also, any tags to Miller's Crossing that deal with the "You're no John Sheppard" line. McShep or gen preferred.

We all know John Sheppard is depicted as an exceptional pilot, but not many people write about any other training he might have had.

I would love some recs of stories that are about or just talk about, flashbacks even, John's military training/record before Antarctica/Atlantis. Was he special forces? special ops? special tactics?

No ship necessary, although I love a good McShep.
