I thought it was august 08 someone requested the best McShep stories. There were about 45 responses. I have searched and searched and can not find this req. Any help please? If this not allowed I will delete. I have no idea how to tag this.

1) John getting injured in the Chair. Either due to a backlash, somehow the Chair poisons him, he merges too deep, passes out because he used it for too long etc . . .

2) Someone that John knows (a family member, someone who served with him earlier in his career, like a former CO/comrade, etc. . .) comes to Atlantis and see how he is handling the position he is in and are shocked, amazed, proud because they always knew he would be great. etc. Just their general reactions to the team, and Sheppard's place in the city, also everyone else's views of that person would be awesome as well.

I have a hankering to read gen stories where John Sheppard is gay or bi. (By gen I mean that the main focus of the story is not a romantic relationship; so Sheppard can be in a relationship, if that's not what the story is about). Are there any out there?
