John Sick Fic.s -- Hides illness

I was looking around here a bit ago and noticed a request for Rodney sick fics.
I noticed there were not any responses to that.
SO!
I was wondering for a consolation prize ( -Chuckle- of sorts) are there any John Sheppard Sick Fics.
The same requirements as the Rodney Sick fic.'s.

where the reason he came to the Atlantis mission is because he is dieing, and he HID IT FROM EVERYONE – OR – The real reason he accepted being stuck out in Antarctica was because he was ill and just waiting till the end. Enjoying himself shuffling people around. Till he suddenly got caught up in the Atlantis Universe.

Or he got sick during a mission and hid it from everyone and it took the people awhile to find out.
It'd be nice if this included anti-touching stuff. Where the reason John doesn't want anyone to get to close to him, physically along with socially, emotionally, is because he's afraid they'll find out.
Also, I'm partial to stories where Someone (or everyone) would have to convince John to get treatment, and / or they would actually have to hold him down, and FORCE treatment on him.
But this isn't a requirement.
( It'd be nice too if it had a happy ending. It'd also be neat if Rodney or someone gained powers, or had powers that enabled them to heal John. But as with the other stuff it's not a requirement.)

Basically I'll take ANYTHING involving John being sick and hiding it. I'll even take stories where the others DON'T find out, but it'd be cooler (I think) if they do.

Atlantis is filled with only children?

Are there any fics that bring up/ deal with the fact that so many Lanteans are only children? Elizabeth, Carson, Ford, etc? And John and Rodney seem to consider themselves only children in some ways for a lot of the series. It makes sense, given the nature of the expedition, but has it been used to explain any of the wacky antics, and stupid mistakes- because there are so many independent-by-nature people. They could use some middle-kid-peacemakers.

Someone requested this before but there were no answer. I'm pitching in again, but a little bit more specific.

I'm looking for any fic where Rodney and Carson are together before "Sunday". Rodney moves on, starts something with John... just to have clone!Carson coming back (as in Season 5).

What I'm not looking for is threesome. Is there anything like that anywhere?

It can end with any pairing (or no pairing at all). Just point out if there is or isn't a happy ending...

Are there any stories where Rodney didn't have enough to eat when he was younger, which is why he savours food so much now? I'm particularly looking for stories where people on Atlantis find out about it or Rodney is thinking about it, rather than stories set 100% in the past.
