Any good OC-pairings?

I just read Victoria Custer's magnificient Hunting Parties-series, and now i have a craving for more OC:s. Preferably paired up with a major canon character, slash or het equally welcome, pre-pairing to explicit, as long as the OC plays a major part in the story.
Oh, and if the ending is unhappy, I prefer to know beforehand, please warn me.

I've been devouring everything I can find in this community (I love you people), but there are a couple things I either couldn't find enough of/at all... So I thought I'd give the asking thing a try!

All McShep please, either together, or getting there, and angst and trauma and whumping is all love, but I really need me a happy ending!

To atone for my greediness, I'd love to make an icon for anyone who responds!!



1. Anything where Rodney calls John on how crappy he treats him in front of other people (either sometime when they're alone, or in front of other people), with extra glompage if other people (like Teyla), have noticed, and disapprove (with words or pointed looks or extra beatings).

2. So, I just read Crimes Against Humanity, yesterday, and it has taken me until now to scoop my brain off the floor and back into my head to make this request, Fic where John and/or Rodney will do anything for the other, and demonstrate this, especially if it's epic.

3. Possessive/protective/jealous John. Like, in What Might Have Been (<3!), where people don't even get to touch Rodney. Rodney can mind or not, an extra fun would be John trying (and failing), to rein himself in. A one-sided bitch fight between John and oblivious!Sam would also be awesome. Or someone at the SGC or in SG-1 hurts/maligns/looks-sideways-at Rodney, and John happens to them.

Rodney's secret / building things

Hi, I'm back again - it seems like every story I read makes me go looking for something :o)

#1.
I'm looking for any stories where people learn something new about Rodney. It could be a dark painful secret or that he can sing (for example). Bonus points if he has a really dark secret, like being tortured (like in Replaced). Also, any stories where he is behaving secretively and someone is trying to find out why (again, serious or frivolous).

#2.
Any stories where Rodney builds gadgets (rather than fixing existing things), either as a gift or for any other reason. I've read a couple where he builds John a Ferris wheel and one where he makes a candy-floss machine at Christmas and I was wondering if there are any more.

McKay/Sheppard and longer stories always preferred but I'll read any length or pairing.
