I checked the tags but this genre seems to be without one.

I'm looking for fics where Atlantis secedes from Earth. Either by force (Earth/military wants to re-call/take over Atlantis or just as a plot point.

I'm looking for a long stories with the pairing beeing, John/Rodney. I've already been through the BigBang stories. The BigBang stories are roughly the length I'm looking for. Could be a shorter, but not too much shorter - if that makes sense. I have no limits on lenght.

Help?

Hello all, I'm looking for a specific kind of story.

What I am looking for are McShep fics (first time or established - either is fine) that show how John means so much more to Rodney than anything else. So much so that he would choose him over something else Rodney really wants like ZPMs or a nobel. Or perhaps Jeannie. Like that cliché, choosing between letting John or a ZPM fall down a cliff (and yes I mean figuratively). It doesn't have to be nearly this final or big, small sacrifices are also welcome.

Ideas?

I have a bit of an odd request. Recently, I realized that three of my all-time favorite fics feature John as a small-business owner: Junk Cheap, by [livejournal.com profile] devildoll , A Place On The Corner, by [livejournal.com profile] almostnever , and A Supermarket in California, by [livejournal.com profile] taffetablue. Any other McShep recs with John-the-laconic-proprietor and Rodney-the-verbose-customer would be much appreciated!

ETA: And, um, I guess the other thing those fics have in common is great descriptions of food, so anything in that category would also be welcome! (Sorry if a double-request breaks any rules.)
