Looking for Length!

I know that this isn't technically a genre... but I figured that this would still be the place to go and ask for it. So I apologize in advance if this isn't allowed!

I'm on my work term for my college course and currently have very little to do when I'm at my desk (although now that I've said it a couple [thousand] times it'll probably change) except read fanfiction. No, I'm not complaining. ^_^

What I'm asking you wonderful people is for your personal favorite fics that are really ridiculously long. You know the ones, the one you turn to when you have absolutely nothing to do and want a couple of hours to pass by quickly.

I'm personally more partial to Rodney being the central character, although I'll read just about anything. I only ask that you lable your suggestions (gen/slash, that sort of thing) for those people that don't.

Prescription Mattress

In so many fics it has been written that Rodney has a prescription mattress.   I don't ever remember this being established in an episode and am wondering where the idea came from.  Canon or fanon?

In this vein I'm interested in reading any fics that are to do with the mattress - how it got to Atlantis etc.  Anything that's more than just a mention of him having one.  I'm particularly interested in what started it all.   If you know the story (or episode) that started it all I'll love you forever.

So I just read double trouble and a amazing as it was it wasn't exactly happy and I relaised I have been reading a lot of good fics but are not the most happy fics.

So I am looking for the best good feeling fics people have read Rodney centric please.


and any team fics where they 4 of them are in a relationshipXD Ones were they are being all domestic or really any good ones some one can rec
