Rodney off the team

I'm looking for stories where Rodney is temporarily off the SGA-1 team; either by his own choice, or someone else's. Whether the team has Ford or Ronon as a fourth doesn't matter; both are welcome.

He (Rodney) can be on another team, or not on a team at all. So long as it isn't a permanent arrangement.

I'd prefer Gen or McShep, but if you've got something different I'm open to it. AUs (where they are still on Atlantis, obviously) are also welcome.

I don't know how much this fits exactly with what you want but there's always Second Fiddle by Azrael (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=4506&warning=12). Rodney leaves the team by choice to join Lorne's but it's ultimately a McShep.

Technically it's a WIP but I find that the story ends well around chapter 11 and then it's more like a sequel after that. :)
