t-shirts, because I Know What Boys Like

...and there was John, eyes half open, hair even more fractious than usual, clutching a coffee mug. He was wearing a T-shirt that said "I Know What Boys Like." (Junk Cheap)

I have a hankering to make another themed list (cf clown fic), this one of fics that have memorable t-shirt slogans (*do not* ask me what goes on in my brain, please....). Geek shirts! Classic 80s heavy metal shirts! Um, I suppose even the great canon shirts (Mr Fantastic, I'm With Genius, etc.) if they play a part in the fic. Gen, slash, het, crack, angst, tentacle porn (bonus if squid wears t-shirt), anything goes, so long as the t-shirt has a memorable role.

Please? *looks hopeful*

These two *might* meet your requirements - both mention t-shirts with slogans though the main characters don't actually wear them. cesperanza's Fat My Dust (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_flashfic/579080.html), which is all about a shirt. Sort-of. And eye_queue's Strangers on a Six Train (http://eye-queue.livejournal.com/680.html), in which there's a mention of a shirt, though no one actually wears it.

Good Luck Charm (http://lamardeuse.dreamhost.com/sg/goodluckcharm.html), McShep, NC-17, in which Rodney borrow's John's shirt and forgets to give it back - it's all about the shirts, really, except they have no writing on them, so you might not want it for your list after all. >.<

But there's always Twenty eight letters, some of which are repeats (http://community.livejournal.com/mcsheplets/78148.html) by devikun, McShep, NC-17, in which the Marines get John a t-shirt as his (gag) b-day present... the text on it has a, well, unusual *cough* effect on Rodney.
