McKay's Forgiveness

Okay, so I searched through most of wraith-bait, crossroads, and the previous posts here. I am looking for fics where John hurts McKay, and tries to reconcile with him. John could injure McKay intentionally or unintentionally, physically or emotionally (or both). What I'm really looking for is John working to get back in McKay's good graces. Extra cookies if McKay is reluctant to let John back in or if someone else is protective of McKay.

Funny, I just read one like that and was wondering why there aren't more that are not related to Rodney blowing up 2/3 of a solar system. ;)

Teyla attempts aid through gentle nudging and later, through whacking with sticks. Ronon rolls his eyes. And Rodney angsts. Meanwhile, Teyla and Rodney together plan for the Athosian Festival of Lights. (my synopsis)

Besides fitting your request, I was really enamoured of this one. It has gorgeous cultural details about the Athosians, and incredibly insightful comments on Teyla, Rodney, Ronon, and John. McShep pairing.
