 Hi folks!

I'm lookin' for fanfics that have features of either:

1.       Larrin (Travellers, Be All My Sins Remember'd) falling for Rodney (maybe him liking her back just a bit!) and John not liking it one bit!

2.       Rodney becomes the hero, gets the people (Atlanteans, off-world villagers, (Ascended) Ancients, etc.) to be in awe and worship him.  With a bit of humor.

3.       It's a bit of Number 2. but it's long and angsty, where Rodney goes through a whole lot of sh%&! to be the hero, and everyone realises his worth and Atlantis (& themselves) can't live without him.

I'd prefer if it's McSheppy, but it can be gen Friendshippy too...

This is my first time so plz be gentle..

I'm sorry that none of these are exactly what you've asked for, but I think, at least, that they're in the spirit of what you wanted. (I might be able to dig up some others for you later.)

Wit's End (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_genficathon/33269.html) by greyias. Rodney goes through an unbelievable ammount of shit to be a save his team here. It's gen, but with a very strong McKay/Sheppard friendship.

Rescue (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_flashfic/397137.html) by tigs. A cute little piece where Rodney has to save the team. Also gen, more all around team friendship this time than specifically McShep friendship.

Shower Porn (http://ladycat777.livejournal.com/971224.html) by ladycat777. This is McShep, and very, very hot, but it doesn't fit your requests as well. Rodney doesn't save anyone, but he does turn John on liek whoa by doing psyical things, which does still put him quiet a bit out of his normal element.

Messages from the Edges of Oblivion (http://sardonicsmiley.livejournal.com/32426.html) by sardonicsmiley. McShep. We don't get to see Rodney doing his big damn heroing, but what we see of the aftermath suggests just how bad it must have been for him.

Pilgrim’s Progress (http://sardonicsmiley.livejournal.com/44403.html) sardonicsmiley. Long. Genius. Sometimes painful. Rodney and Teyla end up the only sane people left in Pegasus and have to save everyone. (I see that you've been recced several of sardonicsmiley's other fic too, and I think I'm just going to going ahead here and tell you you should read them all. Because while not all of them fit in with any of yours requests, she writes wonderful SGA fic, most of it McShep and nearly all of it featuring a very strong Rodney, and you do seem to be a McKay fan going by your requests and your own fics.)
