The Storm/The Eye related fics

I was just re-watching The Storm and The Eye tonight, and now I've got a craving for two types of fic...

1) Anyone know of any fic (AU, obviously) where the Genii actually did manage to keep Atlantis for a while? (preferably the Lanteans would eventually get it back, but not a necessary element) Maybe keeping Shep to use his gene to help them run the city?

2) Any Shep-whumpy (however slight, but more's better, naturally) and/or h/c-ish fics related to those episodes? Anything, from him only realizing when everything's over that he's hurt, to his just being really exhausted, to his catching a cold... Whatever.

Just two caveats: Please no slash (unless it's preslash and/or easily read as gen), and no permanent character death or mutilation (more flexible in the case of AUs, but I'd appreciate a warning for main characters).

For #1, I know one of last year's SGA Big Bang (http://sgabigbang.talkoncorners.net/?view=fiction) stories deals with the Genii being in charge of Atlantis while the gang are their prisoners... I haven't read it, but I'm fairly sure it's McShep (still, with that length, I guess skipping the more explicit parts should be workable).

It's slash but it's not overly overt or anything...you could always skip the slashy parts! And it perfectly combines your number 1 and 2!!!
