OK, I have two requests for you. I'm reasonably sure that the first has been asked for before in an at least similar form, but I couldn't find anything.

1. McShep. Their relationship is an open secret on Atlantis, or they are totally out. Everybody knows they are together. Bonus points for dealing with new personnel OR someone from the SGC OR the IOC or just Atlantis (city or people) standing up for them.

2. The second request plays on Rodneys social inaptitude and the fact that he sometimes just doesn't get people. Are there any fics where he becomes a recluse/retreats so he can be a brilliant scientist (or whatever) without people bothering him?
McShep preferred, but I'll read gen as well. AU's are love. If you know of fics that are het, please post them too, I'm sure somebody will appreciate them. :)

String Theory and Road to Nevada are mild but explicit m/m (McShep) slash, yes. Catch 19 becomes quite deliciously (assuming one is into m/m slash, of course) explicit at the end. It's been a while since I read Geeks & Goons, but John and Rodney are married in it, so yeah. Slash. I do recall that series as more focused on the action/adventure plots than on the romance, though.
