..oops. Took a NyQuil and dropped off the face of the earth for, uh, 13 hours or so; apologies to lavvyan for messing up! Let's try this again...

Two requests from me. First: rec me your favourite stuff with Don't Ask, Don't Tell being repealed. Crossroads seems to be back up (YAY) but that certainly isn't a complete or current list. I prefer McShep, and am not looking specifically for coming out fics, so much as how things change between the boys. amireal's Scenes from a Lesser War is along the lines of what I mean.

Second.. I'm sick, and thus cranky and antsy, and so I'm after some PWP and/or anything with awesome smut to cheer myself up. Still prefer McShep but feel free to toss me other things, too! Uh, I should probably cut the rest for those with delicate sensibilities. My tastes don't run particularly towards the kinky (though I would not turn down kink) but I do especially love when one or both of the boys gets vocal, be it talking dirty or just being very appreciative or what have you. Also, I'm not actually going to be all that picky about things but I prefer bottom!Sheppard, added bonus if he tries to be all tough guy "no no, I am totally a top/straight guy/otherwise not into this" but end up totally into it because they are liars. For an example of that one, see Oblivious by astolat. So, yeah, plot is just fine by me, so long as there is also hot sexin' to be found.

My favorite DADT fic is No Holds Barred by Etui since it's all kinds of warm angsty fuzzies.

Just today I looked up for a similar-themed fic search eleveninches's Some Guys Have All the Luck (http://eleveninches.livejournal.com/281009.html#cutid2), non-explicit McShep, in which DADT is repealed and it's not the military personnel who have a problem with someone *cough*Rodney*cough* being gay, but the scientists. Crack alert! :-D

Also there's Event Horizon (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=5281) by mmmchelle, McShep, NC-17; John asks Rodney on a date, once he's allowed to by the regs.

And in Not a Love Song (http://www.geocities.com/thegrrrl2002/atlantis/04/notalovesong.html) by thegrrrl2002, also explicit (I think) McShep, once DADT is gone everyone approves to John about his relationship with Rodney... wait a minute, thinks John, *what* relationship?!?

But I think you'd like The Eventual Demise of Title 10, Subtitle A, Part II, Chapter 37, Section 654 (http://darkhavens.livejournal.com/188423.html) by darkhavens better (McShep, duh) because in it John sets out to make Rodney do some nice PDA's so they're officially out as a couple, but Rodney is a bit slow on the clue bus... or something.

mmmchelle also wrote an untitled ficlet (http://sheafrotherdon.livejournal.com/144327.html?thread=6667207#t6667207) for the kissing meme, in which the demise of the DADT is announced on Atlantis, and John and Rodney do the predictable thing. ;-) (McShep as well.)

I could probably sort out some more 'repealed DADT McShep' fics for you from here (http://del.icio.us/tag/dadt+sga), but as I've just found a few stories I haven't read yet I'll go and rectify that and let you finish the job. :-)
