Not so much 'hurt', more 'comfort'

Hopefully I explain this clearly.

I'm looking for stories that deal with recovery - either from illness, injury, or psychological trauma. It can have the trauma in the story, just as long as it also has lots of comfort and focus on recovery or the process of recovery.

I've read a lot of h/c stories that have a lot of the 'hurt' and then kind of end with a little 'comfort'. What I'm looking for is what happens after the traumatic event.

Any characters, pairings, or ratings welcome.

ETA:
Two examples of this:
Dasha's Salt of the Earth where Rodney is injured off-world and the team, and especially John, support him through his long recovery.

and Chelle's Place Your Hand, which focuses on Rodney's recovery after being sexually assaulted.

You might like Dasha's Salt of the Earth (http://www.area52hkh.net/asd/dasha/saltof01.php) trilogy. Rodney is attacked off-world and goes through an extremely long recovery. John is almost superhumanly supportive.
