Is "Daedalus Crew" genre or character(s)?

I've just reread two excellent stories: 

sholio's "The Killing Frost" and mrshamill's "Slouching Toward Bethlehem/And There Was a War in Heaven" epic.   I am now searching for other fics which feature members of the Daedalus crew, along with the Atlantis regulars.   I like that both the stories mentioned above had Novak, Hermiod, and Caldwell struggling with the Atlantis crew to survive the latest crisis, playing larger roles than I've seen them have in the show.  Does anyone know of other stories with the crews working together?  

I read mostly gen or McShep, but am open to any pairings, if you believe the story is worth the read.  (I personally love it when a brilliant writer can convince me that a certain pairing is possible -- especially ones I don't initially buy.)  This may include OCs, as I can only think of three Daedalus crew with names, so I can see how a writer would have to "flesh out" the ship's complement with original characters.

I'll even take stories that focus more on the Daedalus, but I'm really looking for some significant interaction with Atlantis.  SG-1 characters are welcome, as well.

Thanks for any and all help.  I'm fairly new in the fandom, still learning to navigate.  If I've missed an obvious LJ/group/archive that has what I'm looking for -- just point me in the right direction.

Tagging: I think I covered a lot of ground with the tags -- I'll gladly add any the mods believe should be added.

miriel has a couple with Novak/Lorne in her Bridges Universe (http://www.mardahin.net/sga/Bridges/bridges_chrono.html). Her Memoirs Universe (http://www.mardahin.net/sga/memoirs.html) has Lorne/Novak in later pairings (earlier is slash).

There's an epic gen story East of the Sun, West of the Moon (http://www.zonezine.net/~dossier/html/eastwest/ew.htm) by Dossier that has the Daedalus crew, plus some Atlantis regulars, crash on a planet.

Finally, a tagger more zealous than me! LOL Seriously, you did a good job, although I removed a couple of you tags; I don't really think of SG-1 as a different fandom, with the way the characters like to jump from one show to the other, so there went the 'crossover' tag, and I think this qualifies more as a genre, because you request isn't focusing on any one specific character, but more of a group thing. Hope that made sense. :-)

I always get a little nervous with a first post to a new comm, and I studied every tag there was on offer. I revised the list several times, myself. The rules you guys have posted very clearly on the info page are a tremendous help -- more comms should be as specific, helps with the "am I doing this right?" jitters.

Well, I was able to unearth the one fic I thought would fit your request, Slouching Towards Bethlehem (http://hawksong.com/~momskitchen/SGA_Fic/bethlehem.htm) by mrshamill (established McShep), in which the Daedalus journeys injured toward Pegasus after losing the battle for Earth, and the remaining SG-1 members meet up with the SGA crew, to stay.

In my search for this fic I came across several like candidates previously searched for (http://www.ljseek.com/caldwell_s4Zusgastoryfinders.html) at sgastoryfinders, but as it turned out I haven't read any of them I'm afraid I can only point you in that direction and hope you stumble over something you like, as I'd hate to rec something that is not rec-worthy due to ignorance.

Slouching Toward Bethlehem is one of my all time favorite fics ever. It's the story that started my, "Hmmmmmm, McShep..." phase, and convinced me that the SGA fanfic world was a pretty nice place to be. :)

I'll check out the link of "previously searched for" fics, and I don't mind vetting the recs for myself. Nice surprises happen that way.
