So I joined genrefinders and clicked the "wing-fics" tag and found two I have not yet read and went \o/ but my lust for wingfic knows no bounds.

As a bribe for more, I bring additions to the wingfic genre for your reading pleasure:

My elder cat is in recovery from sedation and the vet has instructed me to "keep him close," which he has interpreted as "monopolizing mom's lap," so things to keep me very still are Very Good at this time.

Does eliade's An Aesthetic Solitary Thing (http://eliade.livejournal.com/468719.html#cutid1) fit what you're looking for? Rodney is revealed to be a furry creature - with wings, of course. It's a take-off on a bad fic prompt, but it works.

You're most welcome! I don't believe I've met a fandom better suited to this type of crack than SGA. As one of the links passed along reminds us, "Conversion" came within a cat's whisker of making wingfic canon.
