Atlantis stands up for John

Are there any fics where Atlantis tries to stand up for or protect John from a physical or emotional threat? Either goes into overdrive, summons someone, or somehow harms someone and the scientists decide it's because John is the favorite son, or something like that?

Sorry, no, I messed up the fics in my head; the one I meant was Ersatz Void (http://community.livejournal.com/nixa_jane/6684.html) by laytoncolt (R, McShep), in which Rodney gets to Atlatis a few years later than the others, and finds a very small group of fairly eccentric people fighting the good (read: desperate) fight, and one temperamental Atlantis.

Oh heck, now that I have the right story, I might as well update the darn big sentient!Atlantis fic table (http://debris_k.livejournal.com/8391.html) and the Sentient! (http://sentient-atlantis.thekipple.net/)Atlantis 'blogs (http://sentientatlantis.wordpress.com/) with it. Atlantis is sentient enough, I should think. (Also, you can have a look over among the other fics I've collected for some you might like; I can't really think of protective!Atlantis fics, but jealous-of-John's-romantic-interests!Atlantis or insane-yenta!Atlantis can certainly be found among them. :-) )

I really like slybrarian's Treachery Most Foul (http://community.livejournal.com/die_carter_die/3042.html), which is a one-shot with John/unspecified male, where Carter upsets Atlantis with dire consquences.

And there's also Tarlan's Sentience Series (http://www.davidhewlett.co.uk/fiction/viewseries.php?seriesid=9), which features John/Rodney, Jack/Daniel, and a very overprotective of her Ancient gene carrriers (and their mates)!Atlantis.
