Relationship-fumbling McKay?

Hi all! So I'm really stressed out with final year essays right now, and McShep is my de-stressor of choice. I keep reading all these fics where as soon as Rodney realises John likes him he just jumps him saying things like "what, we could have been having sex all this time?" - which are ace reads don't get me wrong, but it seems a bit more confident then I'd've pegged him.

Equally I'm not really looking for fics with body-conscious McKay - though feel free to rec those too 'cause I haven't read many :) - but do any of you know of fics where McKay feels really uncertain about how to be in a relationship & keeps thinking he's screwing up...and John somehow gets him to see past that & figure out that it's not some complex theory he needs to work out?

Even if you can't think of anything exactly like that feel free to throw me any recs you've really enjoyed; I need all the material I can get at mo! Thanks in advance ^_^

The most recent one I read that sorta deals with what you asked for is Come into Being (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?action=printable&textsize=0&sid=3246&chapter=all) by Dharma, WIP unfortunately; it's a sentient!Atlantis fic in a series of short drabbles and chapters that has John and Rodney pining after each other in secret, and even after Rodney gets graffic proof *cough* that John would not turn him down, he still hesitates to make a move, even though Atlantis is encouraging him as well. The story cuts off before the McShep bits get into full swing, though. Wish I could track the author down to check on any more parts, but no luck on that front so far.

Thanks for the rec, this one sounds perfect! - I love it when Atlantis butts in on them as well. Shame about the WIP part, but I'm definitely going to read this first thing tonight. Wish I could go and read it now but I've already overslept by 2 hours, so me thinks I should get down to work. :s
