Just came home from the dentist.  Two hours of poking and he realised that no, he wasnt' going to be able to save the tooth (molar)  - so he pulled it.

I am feeling seriously battered, and I suspect that once the rest of the freezing comes out I am not going to be pleasent to be around.

I need some serious, heavy Rodney angst.   I want him battered, but I want a happy ending.   Stories like Broken Trust and well most of Chaps wonderful fic.

I want slash, I perfer McShep, but I'm flexable.  I've only read one McKay/Caldwell, but I'l willing to try.

I wanna cry. 

I want Commodoresexual to have magically finished Burnt.

I'll even come back and organize them once I'm feeling better.

Oh gosh... *pets you* I had a medical procedure once that left me sobbing, in pain, and shaky for the rest of the day. (The doctor and nurse were baffled at my reaction, but fortunately also very nice about it.)

Oh, what the heck. Self-pimpage: my Side Effects has all kinds of Rodney angst (post Trinity, natch). No physical whumpage (outside of canon, anyway), but all kinds of emotional bloodletting. And *all* of my stories have a happy ending:)

You poor thing! To lose a tooth like that must be awful. *pets* _{This time last year I was finally getting rid of the constant pain that had plagued me from October the year before when my then-dentist screwed up two of my teeth so good they both ended up with root canals eventually, and me in throbbing, elephant!pill-popping pain for months. I do commiserate with you over your pain, but try to take comfort in the fact that it's at least over and done with now; one less tooth to think about. P.S. if you're okay to take ibuprofen? A 500 or 600mg dose should dull the pain in an hour, and leave you feeling marginally more human. Voice of experience and all that.}

I just finished reading Betrayal (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=13166) by diamond_raven, R, McShep established rel., and while only barely half of it is spent on battering Rodney and the other half on-detangling John's head, it's still a good battered!Rodney read.

There's also the good ol' WIP Love's Tangled Web (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=10288) by msgordo2, the McShep AU in which rich!bastard!John marries woobie!Rodney against his will, and Rodney's medical condition insures that he's quite a bit beaten and in pain over the whole thing, physically as well as mentally.

Also, you might want to take a look to a previous post (it was this month, I think) that asked for stories that make folks cry, too. I'm going for speed in comment over comprehension here, so please forgive the lack of link.
