Protective John

I would love to read some stories about John being ultra protective of Rodney -- especially if he's emotionally protective, because of course his job on every single mission is to keep Rodney physically safe.

(As an example, I'm thinking of the section in sardonicsmiley's story "How the McKays Learned to Relax and Love Rodney" where Rodney actually gives Jeannie a kidney after hers are damaged in an accident. John tells her in no uncertain terms that whatever she thinks Rodney owes her, they are now EVEN.)

So - John fiercely protective of Rodney's feelings. Can't wait to find out your favorites!

Well, I'm not sure if you wanted AUs as well, but I just read the newest part of sardonicsmiley's Sophomore Slump (http://sardonicsmiley.livejournal.com/tag/highschool), soft McShep Sky High AU, John is the new kid, Rodney is the school outcast. Very, very protective!John in this one.
