Hi all,

I'm looking for McShep unrequited love, where one of them tells the other that they love them and that person does not feel the same way at all. Looking for something really really angsty and no happy ending.

lol, it's a brilliant fic and again the only one that i found in the fandom. There must be more but with Crossroads down i have you guys at genrefinders to help me out. Though even Crossroads didn't have that much One sided McShep, from what i can remember.

There are a lot of fics that start out as seemingly one-sided, but they all tend to end with the boys living happily ever after, fucking like bunnies in their spare time. ;)

Yeah exactly and i've probably already read them lol. I don't think fandom likes the idea of one sided mcshep, and if someone does write it it turns out happy ever after. Might have to right some myself lol.

hahhahah i so totally would but i'm not a writer at all, the most i can do is drabbles or just all dialogue fics. I can picture them saying what i want them to say but i can never to all the written detail. Plus i don't really know anyone in the fadom to beta read and all that jazz.

Hey, if you write it, I'll gladly beta it. ;) But I know what you mean. I'm not really a writer either, so when I get OMG BRILLIANT fic ideas they usually just perish on my hard-drive.

But you know, this is the SGA fandom. Wishing a fic into existence sometimes works here. Maybe we'll get lucky and someone else will feel the need to write one-sided angst for us.

I have so many unfinished fics on my hard drive that i just leave and when i get inspirations i carry on, but that inspiration only lasts like 50 words. It's not that i don't have dedication it's just that i'd make a better director than a writer lol.

Salt of the Earth by Dasha (http://www.area52hkh.net/asd/dasha/saltof01.php) has Rodney in love with John, but John loving Rodney in a non-sexual way. This story doesn't fit all of your requirements: their relationship is not the main focus of the story, and while the it doesn't end with them in a relationship it is still a happy ending, but this fic is absolutely fantastic!

This makes me think of the heartbreaking story by Lavvyan, An Exercise in Pointlessness (http://lavvyan.jerah.com.au/fic/pointlessness.php). Which makes me cry and isn't entirely sexless, but very much meets the unrequited love criteria...

Ha! I finally have somebody to foist this on! This fic made a huge impression on me when I first read it, and I could never afterward find it again. I was lucky enough to come across it recently and made sure to bookmark it.

Thanks for this. However i was half way through when i realised "Ahhhh i've read this" and true it's an amazing fic. Like i've been saying to Gaffsie at the top, i may have to write my own Unquited Love fic. I actually have an all dialogue fic at the moment but the dialogue is to long between the chracters to count as all dialogue. And it keeps coming out more humourous than angsty lol.
