I'd like to read some fics, AU's, McShep, where there's an age difference between the boys.

I know there are fics out there where one or other of them has been fed on, and I like them.  But I'm really looking for Figure of authority type ones - where one of them is the other's teacher, or boss, or best friends parent.  *blushes furiously*  Bonus points if there's a lot of angst because of this age difference and or relationship.   

In the same vein, I'd like anything McShep where they can't be together for reasons other than DADT, and yet they can't stay away.  Bonus points for pining and imagined unrequited stuff.

And as always there will be bonus points for porn.:)  Yay!

I don't remember how much of an age difference there is in the Boom Boom Room (http://glitterati.talkoncorners.net/fiction/index.html) series, but John's the TA for Rodney (and the question of whether Rodney took advantage of John comes up).

Oh yeah! There's definitley an age difference in Boom Boom isn't there...but John's such a cocky SOB it hardly seems to matter, except when it winds Rodney up!

You've already gotten recs for the age-difference fics that I thought of, but I have a few McShep with serious non-DADT-related pining. (Note: Pretty much across the board these don't have happy endings, if that's what you're looking for.)

Sacrifice (http://community.livejournal.com/mcshep_match/16176.html), by saldemonium. Katie's pregnant. Heavy angst.

Twelve years from today (http://roseart.unrealwords.com/?p=9), by tx_tart. John and Rodney see each other again, 12 years after leaving Atlantis. More angst.

Si Muovo (http://www.trickster.org/kass/SiMuovo.html), by kassrachel and sihayab. Rodney is a Catholic priest. Oh yes, angst.

Those are the only ones I can think of off-hand that specifically fit what you're looking for, but you could also try looking at previously-straight fics, where they might not get together immediately because one or both of them hasn't been with/attracted to a man before. Wow! Thanks very much! Actually, the pining thing is pretty specific and I don't think I spelled it out properly, and I did fail to mention I prefer happy endings. Sorry to jerk you round.

I really like the sound of the fics you recced though. Thanks for taking yout time to rec them. I'm actually getting a bit of a thing for the whole 'love against all the odds and principles' idea, so the Priest!John or Rodney trope is especially hot. I love the idea that they might love each other SO much they'd abandon pretty much anything to be together, even if it takes them 40K words to get to that:)

Oh my yes! I totally loved it. There's also And I Am There by Shetiger, where John is the Priest and Rodney is the temptation. It's based on that pretty terrible Gabriel Byrne movie. Basically the fic is WAY better than the film.
