awkward, dorky John

Having just watched "Outcast" (season 4 ep 15) I'm completely taken with how awkward John was around his ex-wife [highlight to read the slight spoiler for the ep], and I find myself longing for stories in which John is not the completely suave Kirk-type debonair lover he'd like us all to believe he is. I'd like to see him hesitant, awkward, dorky, insecure, just about anything that is opposite of his charming, seductive, smoothly flirt-y norm.

Pairing optional, slash strongly preferred.

P.S. If you think you can find any stories that have a confident!flirty!Rodney (like in yin_again's Flirt) to go with, or on his own, even, I'll edit this post to reflect that.

Heee! Thanks for reminding me of these; I loved 5 Ways and Cellphone, and I might finally give Letting Go a go *g* as BDSM-styles is usually not my thing...
