John knows stargate personnel pre-atlantis

I'm looking for stories that where John learns about the stargate program in the same or similar ways to canon, but has (preferably pre-antarctica) history with McKay or one of the other characters. Bonus points if that history makes the character reveal a different side of themself from what everyone knows about them, but that's extra.

John works at Area 51 but has no idea about the SGC or Stargates in Keira's Hold My Coffee series. It's also a girl!McKay fic.

I also have a pre-atlantis tag for where they meet before Antarctica, though I'm not sure how many of them fit your request.
