Rodney meets Rodney

 Looking for a pretty specific sort of story, here, and am also a virgin poster to this forum; so please let me know if I've broken any particular rules.

It occurred to me how much Rodney has changed because of his work offworld and how much more experienced he has to be at getting things done, working under pressure... what he now knows of astrophysics would probably have astounded him a few years ago.  Come to think of it, McKay's current personal relationships with his team would probably confound a younger Rodney.

What I'm looking for is a story where Rodney meets up with a version of himself from several years ago - a version from either before the Atlantis expedition or very early in the Atlantis expedition.  The closer to just before shipping out, the better.

I have a soft spot for McShep, but don't mind het pairings per se.  Is there anything like this out there in the fandom?  Thanks in advance,

I don't think any of these have Rodney meeting his younger self, though I know there is a young Rodney story in here: my timetravel tag. (http://del.icio.us/dossier1013/timetravel)

Thanks! I'm checking the timetravel fics now. Regardless of whether they have wee!Rodney, I like them in general. :)

Maybe you could tell me which story you're referring to? I didn't see any that had a slightly younger Rodney in them.

Still enjoyed the recs in general though, and read quite a few of them. :)

Okay, Gifted Castaway (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=10880) by Leesa Perrie isn't a time travel story, it's a kidfic-them (http://del.icio.us/dossier1013/kidfic-them) story.
