I woke up this morning with a craving for Duplicate SGA fics. Not necessarily Parallel Universe Rodney or John type stories (even though I love those), but like Clone John or the Replicators of them from This Mortal Coil type stories. Mostly I am thinking clone, because I can't believe no one hasn't wanted to clone John for his gene or Rodney for his brain or anything like that. Bonus points for Mini-me type clones ala SG1's Mini-Jack....

Will take an ship, slash, het or gen, but will admit a fondness for John/Rodney.

First time posting here so if I got the tags wrong please forgive me and tell me which ones would be more appropriate. Thanks!

Moderators warning: please remove the part of your post not concerning SGA stories, as this is a SGA comm, and only searches for stories from the SGA fandom, the less known SGA six degrees fandoms, and crossovers with these fandoms are allowed. On the community sidebar you can find a list of links for comms which deal with SG-1 stuff as well.

That said, the modly hat and come off, and lets see what I can do you for:

I just read a fic that's a cross-verse with Dexter; John (http://khohen1.livejournal.com/648932.html) by kHo. If you know the show then the title says it all - John is the feelings-handicapped friendly neighborhood serial killer in this one. Er, kinda serial killer. It does have a mention of clones, plus John ♥ Rodney while he doesn't feel much else, so. Definitely one for the read column. :-) (If you don't know the show, however, it won't have the desired impact; trust me on this, I tried reading it before I watched the show, and you can't get the feel for the setting if you don't know how Dexter feels. Or, well, doesn't.)

Another that would fit could be The Experiment (http://www.perchance-to-dream.net/luna/experiment.html) by lunasky, which is very angsty, imprisoned!McShep with a twist or two. You'll love it, though. ;-)

As for the tags, using any and all that are appropriate is usually the policy, but as I do 99% of the tagging anyways, you shouldn't concern yourself too much with them.

Edited! Sorry, just figured while people were thinking of SGA clone fics they might know of some good SG1 ones as well. No prob! :D

Going to bookmark the Dexter one for a later read as I have just started watching the first few episodes of it. Will check out the second link this afternoon! Thanks so much!
