I would love to see if there's fics where Earth is lost (invasion etc) and Atlantis takes it back even if this takes a long time. Well the calvary save the day.... with big gun, ships etc.

Prefer mcshep as central pairing.

Rodney, John, and Elizabeth return to Earth when they learn that the Wraith are attacking. John is split up from the rest of the command team, and works on leading a rag-tag resistance with Daniel Jackson, who might flake out off the deep end any day! There's some John/Daniel in this.
