In the mood for gen

I have two requests please. Gen versions of the Sheppard forced out of Atlantis and havoc ensues trope.There are more than a few slash fics on this theme but as noted, I'm in the mood for gen.

Second request is for stories which depict the relationship between McKay and Sheppard as one of strong friendship or brotherhood. I was rereading The Killing Frost and want more, please. Tia

2. NotTasha (Among The Stars, Could Be Worse) and Tipper (A Show of Trust, Hidden Resources) write *amazing* gen fic that have a strong John & Rodney friendship element. They're long, plotty, and fun :D I'm a big fan of Rodney whump, so my favorites tend to feature that, but they have many fics that I'm sure would be of interest. (The ones linked are just ones I'm particularly fond of).

Greyias wrote a couple of gen fics that focus on John and Rodney that I really enjoyed: Wits End and See No Evil.

Also check out liketheriverrun - she sometimes partners up with Koschka to write fantastic John & Rodney gen fic. They're the authors of the Geeks and Goons series (which starts off gen and segues into slash , but you can totally stop before the slash comes in if you'd like. Slash starts at the "Guides To Geeks & Goons). River's Point of View series is really good too. You can find all her fic here. (Note: The Dictionary Series she has at the top of her fic page is included in the Geeks & Goons link I used).

Basically the only gen I read is John & Rodney friendship gen, lol.

I wrote a short story a long time ago about John being forced out of Atlantis and put in prison (Rodney is forced out, too, but doesn't go to prison so he visits John a lot). I think it fits what you are looking for in both of your requests. All my work is gen.
