Hi folks, I've been reading many stories that allude to John being the city's favourite, the city coming awake when he first came through the gate, everything just working for him, John having never felt at home until he walked through the gate and into Atlantis etc. Are there any stories that take that further?

I'm thinking John and the city having a deep awareness of each other. John putting his duty to the city ahead of his duty to his people, possibly to the detriment of his job. Even some sort of symbiotic relationship where a hurt by one is felt by the other - damage to the city hurting John, a hurt or illness to John showing up in malfunctioning equipment in the city.

And then when I was writing this I had the completely cracky thought of all the lights flashing when John has an orgasm, or weapons firing up or something equally spectacular. Are there any stories like that?

I'm a McShep shipper but any pairings if they're well written and make sense are fine. Even I guess John/Atlantis.
