I'm really longing for some fic that shows Ford in a positive way - as competent and a valued member of the team. Could be set during season 1, or something with fond memories of him would be fine too.

Ohhh, I enjoyed that a lot. He got to be military and competent and even smack down McKay's destructive behaviour!
