Rodney in Academia

Hi!

I'm looking for fics where Rodney's teaching people. It's not enough that he's a teacher but there must be at least a scene where he's teaching the class.

E.g. (Loving Rodney, Freedom is Just Another Word for Nothing Left To Lose)

OR

where Rodney is a student and he's arguing (fervently) with the teacher on why he (the teacher) is wrong, wrong and oh so wrong.

E.g. (the scene in The Theory of Acquired Character)

One of my faves for #2 is Under the Sea (http://www.livejournal.com/users/astolat/102649.html) by astolat, a college McShep (explicit) AU in which Rodney and John are both students, and though Rodney only briefly has words with a teacher, those are words the teacher will not soon forget. *g*

Office Hours (http://trinityofone.unrealwords.com/officehours.html) by trinityofone is an academic AU in which John is the professor and Rodney the student. It's the one where John thinks Rodney is quiet and cherubic when they first meet. It may, possibly, be incomplete, but it's worth a read anyway.

do. (http://community.livejournal.com/mckay_sheppard/1823156.html) by velocitygrass is a high school AU wherein John is the teacher and Rodney the student. It's the one with the horrible, wrenching sexual tension.

Tactus (http://toomuchplor.livejournal.com/52021.html) by toomuchplor is an academic AU in which both John and Rodney are music professors. You ask for teaching scenes, and there is a great session with Rodney teaching his choir how to sing with intensity. It's the one where Rodney is a brilliant conductor and John is the ethno-musicology prof.

I've read all three fics at one point or another, unfortunately. However, I've quite forgotten the magnificent of Tactus. It's one of the few brilliant fics on music. ^_^
